Creating Meaningful Change in Our Communities

At Terica Cares Incorporated, we believe that lasting change begins with compassion, meaningful connections, and access to essential resources.

Since our founding in 2021, our mission has grown from advocating for women and girls impacted by endometriosis to addressing broader community needs, including food insecurity, youth empowerment, mental wellness, and family support.

Through outreach initiatives, educational programs, volunteer engagement, and collaborative partnerships, we are working to improve the health, stability, and quality of life of underserved individuals and families throughout Georgia.

Our Community Impact

Our work focuses on reaching individuals and families facing barriers to health, wellness, food access, and essential community resources.

Food Security & Family Assistance

Our community food distributions help connect families experiencing food insecurity with donated groceries, food assistance, and essential household resources. Through twice-monthly outreach efforts, we strive to reduce barriers to nutritious food and strengthen family well-being.

Women's Health & Endometriosis Awareness

Through health education, awareness events, advocacy, and community connections, Terica Cares works to raise awareness of endometriosis, reduce stigma, and help women and girls feel heard, informed, and supported.

Youth Empowerment & Wellness

Our youth-focused initiatives encourage creativity, confidence, emotional wellness, and personal development through educational activities, empowerment workshops, and healing arts experiences.

Community Outreach & Essential Resources

Through generous contributions from community supporters and corporate partners, we have helped make food, school supplies, backpacks, care packages, and other essential items accessible through community outreach activities.

Healing Through Community

Our Healing Her Empowerment Center programming creates opportunities for women and girls to express themselves, build supportive connections, and explore emotional wellness through creative activities.

Initiatives such as Healing Through Painting reflect our belief that healing and empowerment can begin through accessible and supportive community experiences.

Building Stronger Partnerships

Community collaboration is central to our impact.

Terica Cares has received support from businesses, community organizations, and individuals who believe in strengthening underserved communities.

In-kind contributions, donated merchandise, school supplies, food assistance, and volunteer support help expand the resources available through our programs.

We are also a collaborative partner of Partners for HOME, supporting our long-term commitment to developing housing stability initiatives for Veterans and families experiencing homelessness in Atlanta.

Looking Ahead: Expanding Our Impact

As Terica Cares continues to grow, we are focused on expanding our community impact through several strategic priorities:

• Strengthening food security initiatives for underserved children and families.

• Expanding women's health education and endometriosis awareness.

• Increasing youth empowerment, wellness, and creative arts opportunities.

• Building sustainable partnerships with businesses, healthcare providers, and community organizations.

• Developing the Terica Cares Housing & Hope initiative to explore housing stability solutions for Veterans, individuals, and families experiencing homelessness.

Housing & Hope is currently in development and is not yet providing housing placements.

How We Measure Success

We are committed to measuring our programs' reach and effectiveness through:

• Attendance and participation records.

• Food distribution and household assistance records.

• Care packages and essential supplies distributed.

• Community referrals and resource connections.

• Participant feedback and follow-up.

• Volunteer participation and partnership contributions.

These measures help us evaluate community needs, improve program delivery, and communicate results to our supporters.
